Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thoroughly wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Slice them into even fry shapes, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Soak the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain the fries and lay them out on paper towels. Pat them dry thoroughly.
