  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Substitute with any preferred cheese or a dairy-free option if needed.
  • 1 cup Cooked Bacon Replace with turkey bacon or omit for a vegetarian version.
  • 1 oz Ranch Seasoning Mix Homemade ranch seasoning can be used as a healthier alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions Chives can serve as a substitute for a similar taste.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Omit if unavailable; chervil can be a substitute if desired.
For Coating (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans Any nuts can replace pecans; skip for nut-free requirements.

  • 1 box Crackers Serve with gluten-free crackers if necessary.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • plastic wrap
  • Shallow dish

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, green onions, and half of the chopped bacon. Blend until creamy and well incorporated, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Use your hands or a spatula to shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap, retaining its shape.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix the remaining chopped bacon with chopped parsley and pecans. Spread evenly to coat.
  4. Unwrap the shaped cheese ball and roll it in the bacon-parsley-pecan mixture, pressing gently for an even coating.
  5. Re-wrap the cheese ball and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Remove from fridge, transfer to a serving platter, and arrange crackers and veggie sticks around the cheese ball.
