Ingredients

For the Dish
  • 6 ears corn on the cob Provides sweetness and texture; substitute with canned or frozen corn if necessary.
  • 2 jalapenos Adds heat and freshness; can be replaced with bell peppers for a milder flavor.
  • 6 slices bacon Introduces smokiness and richness; turkey bacon can be used for a lower-fat option.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor depth; consider using garlic powder in a pinch (about 1 tsp).
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined A great source of protein; substitute with chicken or tofu for alternative versions.
  • 2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning Provides spiciness and flavor complexity; adjust according to your heat preference.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Adds creamy richness, balancing the spices; can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • a few dashes Tabasco sauce Delivers additional heat; omit if you prefer a milder taste.

Equipment

  • Blackstone griddle

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Blackstone Shrimp Bacon and Corn
  1. Start by cutting the kernels off the 6 ears of corn, dicing the jalapenos, and chopping the 6 slices of bacon into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Set your Blackstone griddle to medium heat and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Once the griddle is hot, add the chopped bacon to one side and cook for about 3 minutes, flipping occasionally until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Move the crispy bacon to one side of the griddle, and on the empty side, add the corn kernels, diced jalapenos, and minced garlic.
  5. In an empty section of the griddle, place 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the shrimp.
  6. Once the shrimp is cooked, gently combine all the ingredients and pour in the heavy cream and Tabasco sauce.
