Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the ketchup. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Press the meat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top. Spread remaining ketchup on top.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and spread mashed potatoes evenly over the meatloaf layer.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes followed by crispy bacon crumbles.
