  1. In a medium saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of sweet cream salted butter over low heat.
  2. Add 3 cups of mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring continually until smooth.
  3. Incorporate food coloring into the marshmallow mixture until evenly distributed.
  4. Gradually fold in 3 cups of Rice Krispie cereal until coated.
  5. If desired, gently fold in Christmas sprinkles.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool for approximately 5-10 minutes.
  7. Using your hands, measure out .6 oz portions and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  8. Repeat for other colors, cleaning utensils between batches.
