  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs try Panko for extra crispy finish
  • 4 tablespoons Melted Butter or olive oil for a healthy substitute

Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Steam or blanch the broccoli florets for about 3-4 minutes until they are just tender and bright green. Drain well to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and melted butter until coated. Sprinkle over the casserole.
