Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook for about 7-10 minutes until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  5. Add diced potatoes and cooked beef and vegetable mixture to the bowl. Fold gently until well coated.
  6. Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
  8. After 60 minutes, remove foil and sprinkle extra cheddar cheese on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
