Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets, blanching for about 3–4 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath to halt cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the blanched broccoli and cauliflower into the cheese mixture.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish and transfer the cheesy vegetable mixture into it.
  5. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the mixture.
  6. Bake for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
