Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and lay flat.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, spinach, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Grease a baking dish, start layering with white sauce, noodles, half ricotta-spinach mixture, chicken, mozzarella, and more white sauce. Repeat layers, ending with noodles and topping with remaining white sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
