  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream Can replace with half and half.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Use vegan cheese for dairy-free option.
  • ½ cup Milk Try non-dairy milk for vegan alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Thickens the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Optional, for garnish.
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Omit if preferring a milder flavor.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced cremini mushrooms and sauté for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Sprinkle in dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with milk until smooth. Pour this into the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Reduce heat and add heavy whipping cream. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted.
  6. Add cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional minute.
  7. Serve garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan.
