  • 8 oz Whole Trout, cleaned and gutted
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Melted butter can be used for a different flavor twist.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can also be used; remember to use less.
For Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Paprika Opt for smoked paprika for extra depth.
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme Use triple the amount if using fresh thyme.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
For Serving
  • 1 medium Lemon Can be swapped for lime.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped Dill or cilantro are great alternative herbs.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the whole trout dry with paper towels and brush with olive oil.
  3. Season the trout generously with garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Insert lemon slices into the cavity.
  4. Place the seasoned trout in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Remove the trout from the air fryer and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
