For the Topping
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Reduce amount if you prefer a less sweet profile.
  • 1 cup Marshmallow Fluff Can be swapped with meringue for a healthier choice.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Mixing bowl
  • 9×13 inch Pan
  • spatula
  • Electric mixer
  • Microwave

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and combine the Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix with the required ingredients as per the package instructions. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes.
  2. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes evenly across the top of the warm cake, about 1 inch apart.
  3. Combine the sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour the ganache into the holes and spread any remaining ganache over the top.
  4. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour to allow the ganache to set.
  5. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the marshmallow fluff.
  6. Spread the marshmallow whipped topping evenly over the cake, covering the ganache.
  7. Melt additional chocolate chips with a splash of heavy cream and drizzle over the marshmallow topping.
  8. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
