Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust by crushing the graham crackers in a food processor until resembling fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter and press into the bottom of a trifle dish.
  2. Chill the mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes for fluffiest whipped cream.
  3. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar in the chilled mixing equipment until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the lime mixture using a spatula.
  6. Layer the trifle by adding graham cracker crust, lime filling, and whipped cream, alternating until finished with a layer of whipped cream.
  7. Cover the assembled trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
