Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Tuna Carbonara
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the drained canned flaked tuna to the skillet with the sautéed garlic and stir gently for about 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic and tuna mixture and mix well for about 1 minute.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 large eggs, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth. Remove the skillet from the heat and pour the egg mixture over the pasta, tossing vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Transfer the Easy Tuna Carbonara to serving plates. Sprinkle more Parmesan on top and serve immediately.

Notes
Use fresh ingredients for better flavor, and experiment with different proteins for variety. Reserve pasta water for adjusting sauce consistency.
