Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sprouted spelt flour, baking powder, salt, and coconut sugar. Whisk together.
  3. Add the unsweetened applesauce and plant-based milk to the dry ingredients. Stir gently until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Lightly flour a clean surface and transfer your dough onto it. Roll the dough out to about ½ inch thick.
  5. In a small bowl, mix coconut sugar and cinnamon together. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled dough.
  6. Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into 8 to 10 even pieces.
  8. Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm.
