Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with melted unsalted butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole milk, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar; whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until the batter is lumpy but homogeneous.
  4. Pour the cobbler batter over the melted butter in the prepared pan, ensuring not to stir.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly on top of the batter.
  6. Carefully pour hot water over the entire mixture without stirring.
