Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Beat the mixture on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the smoked Gouda cheese and half of the crumbled bacon. Mix carefully with a spatula.
  4. Stir in the chopped green onions until well incorporated.
  5. Transfer the creamy mixture to a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.
