Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare Apple Filling: Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced Granny Smith apples, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Cook for 5-7 minutes until apples are softened. Set aside to cool completely.
- Preheat and Prepare Dough: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each into 4-inch rounds.
- Assemble Bombs: Place a spoonful of the cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit round. Top with a piece of caramel candy, fold over and pinch edges to seal. Optional: Roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Bake: Line a baking sheet with parchment and place bombs on it. Bake for 12-18 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.
- Serve: Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar. Best enjoyed warm.

Notes
Ensure the apple filling is completely cooled before assembly to prevent the dough from becoming sticky and hard to seal.
