Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and have your baking dish ready.
  2. Finely chop a medium onion and sauté in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until translucent.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, sautéed onions, chopped spinach, eggs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  4. Spray a 9-inch pie or baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, then pour the mixture into the dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until edges are set and top is golden brown.
  6. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serve warm or at room temperature.
