  • 1/2 cup Bell peppers diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Dipping Sauce
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce for dipping
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare your ingredients.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough until it is about 1/8 inch thick. Slice the dough into 4x4 inch squares.
  3. Place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square. Layer on your choice of toppings.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Lightly coat the tops of each pizza pocket with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes, and optionally garnish with fresh basil or Parmesan cheese before serving.
