  • 1 pkg Frozen Garlic Texas Toast Can use fresh garlic bread or homemade.
For Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Optional; can use mozzarella or pepper jack.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and finely chopped yellow onion. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven and bake the frozen garlic Texas toast according to package instructions, usually around 10-12 minutes at 425°F (220°C).
  4. Remove the toast from the oven and spoon the savory beef filling onto each slice of garlic toast. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  5. Return the assembled toast to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
