  • 1/2 cup Milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 large Egg fresh
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup or BBQ sauce for glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce for gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
For the Whipped Potato Topping
  • 2 large Potatoes Yukon Gold or Russet
  • 1/4 cup Butter or olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Milk or Cream to taste
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Chopped Parsley or Chives for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Divide meat mixture evenly among greased muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  4. Optionally brush tops with extra ketchup or BBQ sauce for a glaze.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F and tops are golden brown.
  6. Boil potatoes until fork-tender, then mash with butter, milk, and salt until creamy.
  7. Allow cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before removing. Pipe or spoon whipped potatoes on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
