Method
 

Directions
  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Allow to sit.
  2. Sear the beef in a preheated skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. In the slow cooker, add the seared beef, beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and any additional seasonings. Stir gently.
  4. Set the slow cooker to low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
  5. In the last hour, cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  6. Shred the beef with two forks and mix back into the broth. Serve over the noodles.
  7. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.
