Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

  3. Mash the overripe bananas in a separate bowl until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky.
  4. Combine the mashed bananas with sugar using an electric mixer until fluffy and light in color.
  5. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the banana mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped pecans and any remaining banana chunks.
  8. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and tap gently to release air bubbles.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
